Begins with Acorn should be AARP and ends with ?

The seven Senators who voted against de-funding ACORN:

Leahy, Sanders, Casey, Burris, Durbin, Gillibrand and Whitehouse

The excuses from Leahy and Sanders and Casey and Whitehouse used an irrational and unreasonable mindset:

They didn’t want to open a can of worms and have to investigate all the other associations government has with organizations in general.

I think it is time all organizations who have received federal funds need to be investigated.  There should be no relationships with outside organizations.  These special interest groups on the left and the right and breeding grounds for corruption.

That is the point Mr./Ms. Senator or Representative:

Billions of dollars doled out in grants and direct funds and nobody knows where it has gone.  How to bilk the taxpayer again and not blink an eye.

I am sure that after 9/11 and Katrina, there was so much money given to these outside organizations that cannot be accounted for.  It is a racket to allow these organizations anymore money ever-and they all should be audited and then de-funded.

Between the fraud and abuse the government does on its own we do not need outside organizations to help spend tax payer’s money with more fraud and abuse and corruption.

ACORN is the first, for many, many reasons, but I do not believe they are alone in the corruption category.

The equation is:  Federal Money=Fraud and Abuse

These organizations can do their “good works” without the tax payer funding them.
